A plane I call "THE PIG" .  I bought this baby from a fellow who sold it to me for $100 including retracts.  It is powered by a YS .61 Long stroke with a Hatori 650 Pipe and Macs header.  To balance this thing, I had to add 18 oz of lead under the engine. Total weight ready to fly is 11.5 lbs It flies like a heavy pig hence the moniker "PIG".  One thing I would like to know is the real name and manufacturer of this kit (Plan).  I know that the plane is old - almost 20 years.

This plane also had a mishap on it's first flight as you can clearly see in photo #1.

My new MEDAL purchased from my friend Don Filteau.  Flies great.  I should have bought a 2 meter plane years ago.  Powered by a YS 140L.

My oldest son age 10 has, as of this writing, flown in 2 pattern contests.  Pictured above is his new Goldberg Matrix Extreme powered by an OS 46 AX.  We have experimented with a few props and found that the 11 X 6 APC is the right one for Sportsman and Intermediate Patterns.  We have tweaked the radio settings so that the plane flies very smoothly and tracks very well.
