The Farming for the Future On-Farm Demonstration Program is financed through the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund and administered by the Alberta Agricultural Research Institute.

The Program provides financial assistance for projects that demonstrate proven technology of benefit to Alberta producers and agricultural processors. Under the program, proposals designed to test, evaluate, modify, adapt, and demonstrate the practical applicability of technology developed here in Alberta or elsewhere in the world may qualify for funding. The demonstration proposal should offer a clear potential to improve the productive efficiency, global competitiveness, environmental soundness, social acceptability or financial profitability of Alberta's agriculture and food industry.
