It's always polite to introduce your self to the other three golfers that you will be spending the next hour or two with. ( however in our case we will fly through the course much faster. After all, we are such great golfers). Allow me to go first.

Hi my name is Kent Pickett. I am married to a beautiful 24 year old woman who adores me. We have Three children, ages are 3, 2, and 1(this keeps my wife very busy). I am the owner of Pickett Financial, and an associate of Balanced Planning Investments Corporation. I write a monthly financial article for my local newspaper. My golf handy cap is scratch {(Ya, right - in your dreams buddy) Hey, who said you could type on my web page? GET OUT!!!! That was my regular golf partner, but don't pay any attention to him.}

I also need to set the record straight up front, I make my living from helping other folks plan their financial future. Yes, that's right, I sell stuff. This means that you will want to keep that info. in mind as we golf. As we continue, you will learn a little more on each hole as to exactly what it is that I do. You will also get some sort of idea as to whether or not you, your family, your company or whatever, needs a planner to work with.

The other thing to keep in mind is that I am living and operating my financial planning practice in Alberta, Canada. That means that I am only licensed to operate inside of Alberta. For everyone else outside of this great province of mine, you will unfortunately have to try to find another planner who is as fun yet down to earth as me. Good luck!!
