The Canine members of the family

 
 

Champ- The veteran of the family.  He is rapidly approaching his 11th year and is an excellent hunter. Originally breed by Whiskey Creek kennels from very fine stock, his desire and ability to hunt has made him a super dog. Laid to rest July 31, 2002 after 15 years 8 months. May he rest in doggy heaven.

Zephyr - originally from Brian Godwin's Kennel at Bassano and shown here at about 14 weeks is showing great promise.  Her personality is one of mellow response.  Nothing bothers her for more than a moment.  Quick to learn, she is both company for the old timer and a bane at the same time. She looks to the "BIG" guy for both guidance and a plaything.  This fall of 99, she should be ready for her first pheasant hunt.  I expect great things from her.
