Alberta Genealogical Society  

We are starting into fall and many of us are looking forward to some time for research after a busy summer. We have started back into to our General Meetings which are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month. 

The British Isles Research Group will be meeting on Wednesday March 21st, 2007 at the Brooks Family Research Centre of the LDS church at 7:00 p.m.. Anyone interested in British Isles research is welcome to attend. We will be reviewing the research material available at the centre as well as the items available on ancestroy.com. This should be very informative for anyone attending, hope to see you there.

The Brooks branch will be holding a information centre at the Brooks Library starting in April. There will be a information booth open on the 4th Wednesday and 4th Saturday of every month for the purpose of informing the public to the genealogy resource holdings at the library as well as promoting the AGS Brooks & District Branch.

Our next meeting will be held on April 12, 2007 and at present we have no program. I will have it on the web page as soon as I know what it is.
